(Miami) Toronto Raptors forward Chris Boucher will miss at least the next three games with an internal lateral ligament injury in his left knee.
The Montreal athlete suffered the injury after falling badly in Wednesday's game against the Brooklyn Nets, won by the Raptors 114-103.
Raptors officials have said Boucher will be out of the game until the team leaves for its West Coast tour from April 29 to May 4. His state of health will then be updated, if necessary.
Boucher is posting personal career highs with per-game averages of 13.6 points, 6.7 rebounds, 1.9 blocked shots and 24 minutes played in 59 games.
He has a 51.9% shooting success rate, including 38.9% from the three-point zone.
The Raptors (25-34) occupying the 12 th spot in the Eastern Conference, a half-game of the Washington Wizards and the 10 th place, which gives access to the qualifying tournament for the playoffs.
The Raptors will visit the New York Knicks on Saturday. On Monday and Tuesday, they will host the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Nets, respectively, before flying to the American West.
